MFC Stop–Report–Verify Standard

Drivers Are Trained Not to Improvise

Drivers are trained to recognize events where improvisation creates unacceptable risk. The driver should not conceal, guess, or independently work around a security, food-safety, chain-of-custody, installation-access, or documentation problem.

STOP — SECURE — REPORT — VERIFY — DOCUMENT

If any of the following occurs, the driver follows the Stop–Report–Verify standard:

denied military installation access driver identity discrepancy credential problem missing seal broken seal seal mismatch evidence of tampering suspicious activity contamination concern temperature excursion reefer failure accident cargo damage shortage wrong product rejected product unauthorized trailer access questionable documentation unexplained route change inability to reach the authorized receiver conflicting instructions involving security or chain of custody
