Get Your Carrier Ready for Military Food Freight
The U.S. military moves food to its bases every day. The company holding that government contract only hires trucking companies that are already verified, trained, and proven. MFC gets your company qualified and your drivers trained and tested — so you’re ready to be hired.
Verified company. Verified drivers. Trained and tested. Ready to roll.
MFC prepares your carrier first. The hiring company (the Prime Vendor) stays confidential until you qualify — then we introduce you.

What MFC Actually Does — In Plain English
If you’ve never hauled military freight, here’s the short version.
The #1 reason carriers struggle with military freight
Most trucking companies know freight. What trips them up is the military side — and it’s a whole different world.
- Getting onto a military base has its own rules.
- There are security, food-defense, and chain-of-custody rules — including trailer seals.
- The government runs its own inspections and paperwork.
- If a driver doesn’t know the rules, a load can get rejected or base access denied.
MFC exists to close that gap — we teach your drivers exactly how this work runs before they ever touch a load.
DLA (Defense Logistics Agency)
The military’s supply office. They need food moved to U.S. military bases.
Prime Vendor
The big company that holds the government contract. They hire trucking companies to move the loads.
MFC (us)
The company the Prime Vendor hired to find, check, train, and ready carriers like you.
What we do for you
- Check that your company qualifies for this work.
- Verify each of your drivers — identity, CDL, background.
- Train your drivers on the military-side rules for these loads.
- Test them so they’re proven.
- Watch your drivers on an ongoing basis (monitoring).
- Introduce your ready carrier to the hiring company.
The one question we answer: is this carrier — and its drivers — properly verified, trained, and ready for this work?
How It Works — 3 Simple Steps
That’s the whole idea. The detailed ten-stage framework is on the next page for those who want it.
Apply
Tell us about your company. We check that you qualify — you need your own operating authority (not a broker or owner-operator).
We prepare your team
We verify each driver you’ll use, train them on the military-side rules for these loads, and test them.
You get introduced
Once your drivers are “DLA Freight Ready,” we introduce your carrier to the company that hires trucks for this freight.
How MFC and the Hiring Company Work Together
MFC is hired by the Prime Vendor — the company that holds the government contract to move the military’s food. Our job is to find carriers, verify them, train their drivers, and get them ready. Once your carrier is “DLA Freight Ready,” we introduce you to the Prime Vendor, who makes the final call on bringing you on. The Prime Vendor keeps control of all pricing, lanes, and load details.
Important
“DLA Freight Ready” is MFC’s own readiness status. It is not an approval or endorsement from the Department of Defense, the Defense Logistics Agency, or any military branch, and it does not guarantee acceptance, loads, revenue, or freight volume. The Prime Vendor makes the final hiring decision.MFC Standard

DLA FREIGHT READY
Two Simple Checks
First, your driver becomes “DLA Freight Ready” (trained and tested). Then, before every load, you (the carrier) do a final check — destination, base access, what’s on the truck, temperature, and paperwork — to clear the trip.
If Something’s Off, Don’t Guess
Your drivers are trained to stop, secure the load, report, and wait for direction — instead of improvising around a security, food-safety, or paperwork problem on the road.

This is for motor carriers with their own operating authority — not brokers or owner-operators — who want to invest in getting their drivers verified and trained for military food freight.
- A clear path into a real military food-freight opportunity — instead of guessing how to get in.
- Your company enrolled and checked; each participating driver verified (identity, CDL, background).
- Real training and testing built around how these loads actually run.
- Ongoing driver monitoring, plus a verification record for each driver.
- An honest scope: we verify, train, test, and monitor people — we don’t certify equipment, and finishing doesn’t guarantee you loads.
Verified. Trained. Tested. Monitored.
