What MFC does
Military Freight Consultants (MFC) vets and sources trucks for the Department of Defense. For nearly 20 years we've worked inside the formal tender and award system that moves military freight — building a screened network of carriers the DOD can rely on. We are not a load board and we don't broker freight to the open market. We put approved, vetted carriers in direct contact with the prime contractors who hold the awarded contracts.
Two freight programs, one vetted network
MFC moves two distinct types of military freight. Your equipment determines which lane you're sourced onto — and both lanes are covered at the September 8 event.
DLA — Troop Support Food Freight
Refrigerated and dry freight moving through the Defense Logistics Agency's food subsistence program.
Pool of Prime Vendors — Base Freight
General military base freight sourced directly to the prime contractors who hold the awarded contracts.

The process — how it works
We vet your company
MFC reviews your authority, insurance, equipment, and driver qualifications to confirm you meet the standard the DOD requires. Only carriers who pass vetting move forward.
We vet your drivers
Each driver entering the pool is background-checked, English-verified, trained, and assessed against the standards required to enter military installations.
You're introduced to the prime contractors
Once approved and onboarded, we put you in direct contact with the prime contractors — the actual holders of the awarded freight contracts. No middleman, no bidding war.
Loads flow to you
Approved pool members receive real military freight opportunities through the relationships MFC has built — loads you've been formally awarded, not shopped on a board.
You stay monitored
MFC stays in the system with you. Drivers remain monitored and in good standing so the access — and the relationship with the prime contractors — is never put at risk.
You're part of a vetted network
You join a screened pool of carriers, not a marketplace. That network status is what keeps the freight flowing and keeps the DOD confident in every truck that rolls.
